Key Ingredients
Organic Plant Protein
Pro-Boost provides high-quality plant protein from whole food sources, including organic pea protein, organic chia seeds, organic pumpkin protein, and organic flaxseeds supporting muscle maintenance and overall health. Plant-based proteins are not only beneficial for active individuals and older adults who require more protein to maintain muscle mass, but they also offer a healthier alternative to animal proteins. Studies link higher plant protein intake to reduced risks of obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease, making Pro-Boost a smart addition to the plant protein-rich foods in your diet for optimal health and performance.
Organic Mushrooms
Pro-Boost includes Dr. Fuhrman's exclusive blend of nine organic mushrooms: Maitake, Reishi, Himematsutake, Turkey Tail, Shiitake, Lion's Mane, Meshimakobu, Chaga, and Zhu Ling. This unique combination delivers a variety of mushroom phytochemicals that are rarely found in everyday diets. The mushrooms' cell walls are rich in beta-glucans, powerful polysaccharides known for their ability to enhance immune function. Research suggests that these compounds activate key immune cells, including monocytes, dendritic cells, and natural killer cells, to strengthen the body's natural defenses. Studies have shown that consuming mushrooms or their extracts can significantly support immune health.
Organic fruit and vegetable blend
Organic Pro-Boost provides more than just protein; it includes a powerful blend of 12 organic fruits and vegetables, giving you an extra boost of antioxidants and phytochemicals. This nutrient-rich mix features organic apple, kale, broccoli, spinach, carrot, parsley, beet, green cabbage, blueberry, raspberry, strawberry, and tomato. These superfoods are packed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that help fight free radicals, support immune function, and promote overall vitality. By incorporating this diverse blend of fruits and vegetables, Organic Pro-Boost not only fuels your body with plant-based protein but also enhances your diet with the wholesome goodness of nature's best produce.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Organic Pro Boost gluten-free? Allergen-free?
Organic Pro-Boost does not contain wheat, gluten, dairy, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, or sesame. Organic Pro-Boost is not manufactured in an allergen-free or gluten-free facility. Our manufacturing facility has an allergen control program in place designed to properly handle, store and use materials in production to eliminate the risk of cross-contamination, in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Why is more protein not always better?
Consuming animal protein raises IGF-1 levels, a hormone linked to aging and cancer when elevated later in life. In contrast, plant protein does not stimulate IGF-1 as strongly. Studies show that higher plant protein intake and lower animal protein intake reduce the risk of obesity, diabetes, and mortality, contributing to a longer life. The Nutritarian diet provides adequate protein from beans, vegetables, nuts, and seeds. Pro-Boost offers an extra protein boost, but most of your protein should come from your healthy diet.
Why does Organic Pro-Boost contain a lower dose of protein than most other protein powders?
Organic Pro-Boost is designed with an optimal protein amount because your diet should be your primary protein source. This supplement enhances your plant protein intake without replacing meals. If you're a serious athlete or older adult with higher protein needs, you can adjust by using two scoops or more.
