    Salt intake

    Recently I was looking for a "no Salt" or lower salt product, and upon reading the section on sodium intake, i realized that even those products weren't the answer, and decided to use a product with just herbs and spices, no sodium.. good read

    Having a family history of high cholesterol, my physician urged me to go on a statin. The side effects were horrible for me so I stopped in the first month. My doctor said “diet and exercise” but didn’t indicate what type. I was not given a pamphlet or any roadmap for better health. Fortunately I bought Dr. Joel Fuhrman’s book The End of Heart Disease. This book lays out in detail exactly what to do to reduce and even reverse heart disease. He lays out the medical information that describes how the Standard American Diet is not favorable for longevity or superior health. I followed the advice and within 90 days my total cholesterol number reduced by 73 points and I have lost 23 pounds. (306-233 Total Cholesterol and 148-125 pounds) I am happy to say that I find myself feeling happier and healthier PLUS the inflammation in my knees has disappeared. I plan to continue to follow his advice. I am now able to jog again without pain. Thank you Dr. Fuhrman for guiding me to better health.
