Organic mushroom blend
Mushroom Chai features Dr. Fuhrman's organic nine-mushroom blend: Maitake, Reishi, Himematsutake, Turkey Tail, Shiitake, Lion's Mane, Meshimakobu, Chaga, and Zhu Ling. This blend provides extra mushroom phytochemicals that are not readily available in most diets. The cell walls of mushrooms contain beta-glucans, polysaccharides that modulate immune cell activity. Lab studies suggest they enhance the activity of monocytes, dendritic cells, and natural killer cells, boosting the body's natural defenses. Human studies have shown that dietary mushrooms or extracts support immune health.
Organic turmeric
Turmeric is a rhizome (underground stem of a plant) used as a spice and in traditional Ayurvedic medicine. Mushroom Chai includes powdered, dried turmeric. Curcumin, which gives turmeric its yellow color, is thought to be responsible for many of the health benefits of turmeric, however, turmeric contains many other beneficial phytochemicals that likely also contribute.
Chai spices
